When I first started this game, I never expected to have acquired so many animals. Granted the game is called “Barn” Buddy. I never saw it as a game that would evolve to have so many animals.
I was fine planting and harvesting my crops religiously with my lone dog to help me fend off thieves. All was well and good. But then, chickens went up for sale. To tell you the truth I don’t really know if I bought one right away but I did buy eventually. It was cool to have one. It was a source of a little extra income, income that was enough to buy a few extra fertilizers here and there. Fine. Unfortunately, when that first animal was introduced, it was a big rip off! You had to pay credits for the use of an animal for a meager 30 days!
But alas, the Devs eventually smartened up and started releasing animal after animal one after the other. First there was a cow, with a bell. Next I believe was a sheep. A pig quickly followed. These were all available for either gold or credits.
After that, that’s when it started to get really weird. They released panda bears, tigers, elephants, bunnies, unicorns…I mean things that just DID NOT BELONG ON A FARM! This was getting utterly ridiculous!
And you know what was the saddest part, I bought them all (well at least the gold version of each animal). So now I have all kinds of weird animals on my farm. The income they generate is not even remotely close to their cost so I don’t see myself breaking even soon.
My advice is: don’t buy animals. Your farm will end up looking like a circus like me…
